LEADERSHIP - 18 Years of volunteer service as Scout Leader and a Merit Badge Counselor for Scouting America formerly The Boy Scouts of America (BSA)

Providing proactive STEM guidence for youth and professional instruction for Animation, Chess, Game Design, Digital Technology, Programming, and Robotics. (2001 - 2019)
I also have earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout as a youth which is a major life achievement & lifelong honor for me.
LEADERSHIP - Robotics FIRST Tech Challenge. Volunteer Mentor & Coach for the youth team Mechanical Spud Gears from Idaho Falls, Idaho.

My role was very exciting and I enjoyed helping to create youth excitement for the seasonal finale competition in Moscow, Idaho (2014 - 2015).

I helped an amazing team finalize many important design goals for the launch of the game on January 5th, 2022. Helping with specific artwork, logo graphics, level layout designs, and achievement graphics for this game, website, and Steam page.
CAUSUAL ADVENTURE - PC
Brushlings: Pale Moon. You play as Gaia in a solo campaign to restore color to the world before it's lost for good. Using a variety of elemental abilities to solve puzzles and defeat enemies to save the world from becoming colorless forever.
DICE GAME - TABLETOP
HACK 13 - A Dice Manipulation Game for Ages: 13 and up for 2 to 6 Players. This game was developed & produced by our small team at Hideaway Studio.

This game was prototyped in 6 months, with another 6 months of revisions directed by the publisher and manufacturer. This game had physical and intellectual challenges for players to solve in a modified escape room theme.
BOARDGAME - TABLETOP
Thrillville - An interactive tabletop board game for ages 8+ and 2 to 6 players.
Players will want to solve 3 of 6 puzzle stories available before the carnival closes at midnight.
The game was funded by and produced by Zach Issak. I was the principal content designer and developed the mechanics, rulesets, and layout concept.


MUSIC, WRITING, & AUDIO - Accomplished front man and lead vocalist for progressive local band DREADNAUGHT


As a vocalist and lyrics writer, I have enjoyed creating songs with the band. We recorded at Fast Forwward Recording Studio in Utah, USA.




TOP DOWN SHOOTER - PC
Operation Bonsai - This is a collective work from a small team for a capstone project from FULL SAIL UNIVERSITY. Made with the UNITY Engine. My contributions were collaborating and contributing to the Programming of the Enemy, Game Balancing, Turret Devices, Level Design, UI, Menu page, Sound FX, and Voice-over Audio.

VEHICLE WRAPS - Graphic Design
Designing partial and full wraps for vehicle decals. Designing custom vehicle wraps for personal and corporate advertising using 3M technology.
Here are a few of my most favorite designs that I am particular to. These required seamless market integration, achieved through effective production methods, all while listening to what the customer actually wanted.

DICE CAN - 3D Print/CNC
Creating a product from makerspace tools has been a rewarding experience. This was designed as an accessory for tabletop games TTRPG's for a new concept game called Atmos Crux.

Dice Tower concept and process was all done in house. Fusion 360 was very helpful in not only designing but testing materials and theasholds. The specifications and materials chosen were stress tested to see where the weakness were in the build. Choice of machines were also chosen to perform the subtractive methods and addative methods to accomplish the same product.

I love to work with each customer to get the desired results. Caring is the key to great graphics. Every work I have created is customized with impactful consideration, unique artwork, and meaningful text to capture the intended audience.

SALVAGERS - Graphic Novel - 3D Printing
I love fandom and creating 3D models. I designed a replica from the stories to produce a real-world object representing the Probe.
Using 3DS Max to create the object and then 3D printing the device as an ornamental work for fans.

ARTWORK - Watercolors - Book Printing
Being the watercolor artist for the Herbal Tales book Echinacea, was a fun endeavor and helped me to brand my diverse artistic skills in drawing and illustrating through different mediums.

HYBRID GAME - Visual Studio Forms - Mobile Apps. A Monster Card Builder game that can be accessed via the web.

MONSTER CARD BUILDER - Players choose their design and monster attributes, then roll for powers. Players can save their designs and print their unique cards physically.


React Native - Mobile App - A card game that interacts with online content for mobile.



ALIEN IDENTIFICATION APP - Scan QR Codes to access the game content for the card game. Players can choose the ship that is associated with each alien and learn of powers that will aid in a tabletop card game. Using the EXPO GO as the emulator.

UI/UX Design - Mobile App
One of my favorite collaborations was working with a team of developers for a downloadable app for Signature Colorprint. I was able to contribute to the UI/UX layout concept and provide the initial graphics to fit a variety of mobile devices.

ACTIVITY BOOK - Minecraft
A 100-page activity book for ages 8 to 12 years. Following game-based learning techniques for pen and paper activities that followed the theme of Minecraft.
